Delete your account

You can delete your Bingo Factory account yourself, from inside the app, and it is gone the moment you confirm. If you no longer have the app, we will do it for you.

In the app

1. Open Bingo Factory and, on the Create screen, tap the gear at the top to open Settings.
2. In the Account section, tap Delete account.
3. Confirm with Delete account.

The Account section is only there while you are signed in. If you cannot see it, this device is not signed in: sign in with the same Apple or Google account you used before and it will appear.

What is deleted

Straight away, with no emails back and forth and no waiting period: the identifier Apple or Google gave us, your email address if you shared one, and every game you hosted. Games you joined that somebody else hosted are not affected. You can sign in again later, but that starts a new, empty account.

What is kept, and for how long

• Generated squares are kept and reused. They are about a topic, not about you, and nothing links them to your account.
• Names and marked squares in games you joined are deleted 12 hours after the game was created, as they always are. Deleting the account does not change that.
• The anonymous device identifier stays while the app is installed, so you can keep playing. It holds no name and no email address. Delete the app and its token stops working.
• A Pro subscription is billed by Apple or Google, and deleting the account does not cancel it. Cancel it in your App Store or Google Play subscriptions.

If you no longer have the app

The quickest way is to install it again, sign in with the same Apple or Google account and follow the steps above. It takes a minute and needs nothing from us.

Or ask us to do it: write "delete my account" in the form on the support page, and put the email address you signed in with in the email field, so we can find the account and reply. Go to the form

We reply to that address to check it is you, then delete the account and tell you when it is done, within 30 days. If you hid your address with Sign in with Apple, we only know the relay address, so reinstalling is the easier route.

Never made an account?

Then there is nothing to delete. Playing somebody else's game needs no account; your name and marks go 12 hours after each game is created, and deleting the app stops its token working.
